You guys know I love my morning coffee, but lately I've been dabbling with making iced matcha lattes at home and DANG they are delish! I usually stick to one coffee a day and drink it with my breakfast, but if I'm ever in the mood for an afternoon pick-me-up, matcha is the perfect option for me. I've been loving Further Food's Superfood Matcha Powder because not only is it delicious, but it's so easy to whip up and customize just the way you like it. Ingredients (1 serving):
1 tsp Further Food Matcha Superfood Powder1/4 C hot water
6-8 ice cubes
1-1.5 C milk
Optional: 1 tsp honey OR1 tbsp coffee creamer/sweetener
Directions:
Whisk Matcha powder into hot water until fully combined and frothy (I use an electric frother to do this). Whisk in honey if using. Place ice cubes into your glass. Add milk, coffee creamer (if using), and top with matcha mixture. Stir and serve!
